“Storm Offshore” by Katherine Gerardi using the “Pain” drawing by Greg Frucci

As humans move in Time, I see a Peace overtaking torment…

as in all Walls faced…

there is a Other side…

the challenge is to continue until the Path becomes Peaceful once again…it will.

This image, “Storm Offshore”, will be added to the chapter, “…day Three to the East…” as it speaks to a transformation of Self during an intense Time…times we all experience in particular moments in Life.

Yesterday, I was off work from Home Depot where I have one of my part-time jobs.  I put my dog Lucky in the dinghy (actually he jumped in the dinghy as if to say, “come on Dude, let’s go for a ride”) and  motored over to Masonboro Island.  The sky was clear overhead and the winds were light.  People were out and about on the water having fun.  Yet, not far out to sea, Tropical Storm Alberto was churning up the water between here and Bermuda.  Physically, I was having great fun playing with Lucky on a beautiful sandy beach on a warm spring day…yet…part of Me was “out there” remembering and feeling a battle with Self on the S/V Cuddy.

After returning from my jaunt over to the island with my best friend, I looked up into the clear blue sky and wondered if a sailor out to sea could be battling a storm.  As my eyes descended to the horizon to the East, I could see the clouds of Tropical Storm Alberto and felt his presence.  In the moment, I sent Katherine a drawing, “Pain”, I sketched while in Architecture school at Carnegie Mellon University back in the early 1980’s.  Within a very short time, she sent back the image above.  I felt a great Peace upon seeing the image and thought of the day after the storm I battled at sea “…day Four to the East…”

Transformation can be an intense experience for Us…

Restless during the experience we feel…

a battle with Self only if we create the emotions…

and we do.

Peace to you and the sailors upon the Indigo Sea…
